Dear friends,

As you all know, COVID-19 is continuing to affect us all in so many different ways.   The past few months have brought so many changes to what we have been used to as our “normal”.  To me, it’s felt like we have all been involuntarily casted into some weird Sci-Fi movie with thousands of people being infected & dying from this deadly virus,  businesses closing, people quarantining, wearing gloves & masks, barriers going up everywhere you look & people having to distance themselves from friends & loved ones.  It’s been absolutely heartbreaking.

We’ve all been through so many changes since March & we long for things to get back to the way we were.  As we work our way through the phases of "reopening", we look forward to better days ahead.  Our top priority is the health and safety of all Virginia riders, including our rider-friendly business friends, our family members, customers and all of our motorcycle communities. We understand the challenges of adapting to this adjusted way of life for the health & safety of everyone.  We aim to support the needs of our communities in any way that we can.

Rider-Friendly businesses throughout Virginia & West Virginia have been seriously impacted, some hit very hard, by the affects of this pandemic.  Many of these businesses & venues are ones that are always there for riders & have supported your poker runs, charity rides, races & motorcycle events.  Some are really struggling right now & they need our help & support.   We want to help get riders out to visit & support rider-friendly places in our region which is why Virginia Rider is hosting the SUMMER FUND$ FOR THE ROAD weekly GIVEAWAY for $50 VISA Gift Cards every week, all summer long through August 31, 2020.   Check out our Rider-Friendly page here on the site or our Instagram & Facebook @virginiaridermagazine for details on how you can enter to win.

These businesses have been there for us…let’s be there for them.

Many motorcycle events have been cancelled for the year or postponed to later dates.  We encourage everyone to adhere to our states’, (Virginia & West Virginia) & local guidelines so that we can safely move through the phases in the coming weeks & months.  If you're holding an event we encourage the same.  We all want things to get back to normal but they can only do so if we do our part.  Please stay in touch with us through our facebook for the latest updates on events which we will bring to you as they become available to us.   These are extremely challenging times & I want to personally thank all of you who are doing your part & being all you can be through this pandemic.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT EVENTS:  We want to inform you that we will only promote and share events that have the current social distancing & other mandated guidelines in place that have been put forth by our Governors.  Let’s all work together to help keep each other safe & healthy.

Our next issue of Virginia Rider will be released next week & will be filled with lots of great information, articles & important items of interest that affect all motorcyclists as we adjust to this new way of living in the world all around us.

If there is anything that we can do for you, please let us know.  You can message us through our Instagram or Facebook at @virginiaridermagazine, email us at or give us a call (757) 822-4700.

We look forward to coming together again with you real soon.

Much Love,
